Project Overview:
This Peterbilt 389 Tandem-Axle Semi-Tractor was outfitted with a ReliaMAX™ automatic lubrication system to meet the high-duty demands of a ready-mix concrete fleet. The system delivers grease to 32 critical points across the chassis, including clutch linkages, steering components, kingpins, tie rod ends, suspension points, S-cams, slack adjusters, blower bearings, and the fifth wheel assembly.
A 4 kg ReliaMAX™ electric grease pump powers the system, filled with Almagard® Vari-Purpose Lubricant (3751), an NLGI 1 grease designed for heavy loads and water resistance. By automating routine greasing, the system improves uptime, extends component life, and ensures reliable performance during frequent deliveries and road travel.
