Minimal Quantity Lubrication (MQL) is a lubrication method that delivers a controlled amount of lubricant directly to the application point using precision micro-pumps and compressed air. Unlike traditional flood coolant systems that apply large volumes of fluid, MQL systems utilize a fine air/oil mixture to provide lubrication exactly where it is needed while significantly reducing lubricant consumption.
LubeTool MQL systems use positive displacement micro-pumps to meter precise amounts of lubricant into an air stream, which is then delivered through coaxial tubing and specialized nozzles to the cutting zone, chain, conveyor, or other application point. The result is targeted lubrication, cleaner operation, reduced waste, and improved control over lubricant delivery.
Because lubricant volume, delivery frequency, air pressure, and nozzle positioning can all be adjusted, MQL systems can be configured for a wide range of metalworking, chain lubrication, conveyor lubrication, industrial wetting, and specialty lubrication applications.
