Dexron® VI Automatic Transmission Fluid (1136)

Product Description

High-Performance Synthetic Fluid Protects GM Transmissions

Dexron® VI Automatic Transmission Fluid (1136) is a synthetic-based fluid for use in automobiles with automatic and power shift transmissions, and in power steering systems and hydraulic pumps. It is formulated to provide smooth shifting, low shudder and long-life performance in automatic transmissions. The Dexron designation was developed by General Motors, which licenses the brand to LE and other ATF vendors.

The Dexron VI classification was introduced for the 2005 model year and newer GM vehicles. It is also backward compatible and recommended for use in transmissions for which previous Dexron fluids were specified.
