Develon DX800LC-7 Excavator | ReliaMAX® Automatic Lubrication System Install

Keeping large excavators properly lubricated is essential for maximizing uptime and extending component life. On this Develon DX800LC-7 Excavator, we engineered and installed a ReliaMAX® automatic lubrication system to keep 17 critical lubrication points supplied with grease throughout the workday.

The installation features a ReliaMAX® 8 kg electric grease pump paired with a series progressive divider valve network to deliver precise, metered lubrication throughout the machine. The system automatically supplies grease to the boom pins, boom-to-stick pivots, lift cylinders, stick cylinder, bucket cylinder, bucket pin, dog bone linkage, and upper and lower H-link assemblies, replacing manual greasing with consistent, repeatable lubrication.

Careful attention was given to routing and securing the high-pressure tubing throughout the boom and stick to maximize protection and serviceability in demanding operating conditions. Divider valves were strategically positioned to minimize tubing lengths while ensuring accurate grease distribution to every lubrication point, allowing the system to provide reliable, hands-free lubrication throughout the workday.

The system is filled with Lubrication Engineers Almamoly™ HD Grease (1488), a heavy-duty grease formulated to provide exceptional wear protection in high-load, high-shock applications. Fortified with molybdenum disulfide and other solid lubricants, Almamoly™ HD Grease helps protect heavily loaded pins and bushings while resisting water washout and maintaining a durable lubricating film under severe operating conditions. Together, the ReliaMAX® automatic lubrication system and Almamoly™ HD Grease (1488) help reduce maintenance time, improve lubrication consistency, and extend the service life of critical excavator components.
