Lubrication Technologies’ Showcase
John Deere 60G Compact Excavator
Project Overview
Routine lubrication is now faster and easier on this John Deere 60G Compact Excavator, thanks to a ReliaMAX™ automatic lubrication system designed for precise, consistent delivery. The compact design of the machine often makes manual greasing difficult and time-consuming, so this centralized system ensures every critical point receives the correct amount of lubricant without daily intervention.
The ReliaMAX™ system is configured to service 11 lubrication points across key pivot areas, including boom, stick, and bucket pins, as well as articulation joints and cylinder rod ends. By maintaining a steady supply of lubricant, the system helps prevent wear, extend component life, and improve machine uptime in demanding jobsite conditions.
This installation uses Almagard® Vari-Purpose Lubricant (3751), a tacky, water-resistant grease formulated to provide long-lasting protection under vibration, shock loading, and exposure to moisture or contaminants. It remains stable across temperature extremes, helping ensure dependable lubrication even in harsh outdoor environments.
With a 2 kg reservoir, this series progressive system automatically meters and distributes grease through precision divider valves, providing reliable delivery to each point. The result is a more efficient maintenance routine, reduced downtime, and consistent performance in the field.
