This John Deere 380 P-Tier Mid-Size Excavator was equipped with a ReliaMAX™ automatic lubrication system to simplify daily maintenance and ensure consistent grease delivery to 18 critical pivot points. The series progressive design distributes lubricant precisely across the boom, stick, and bucket assemblies, which experience high stress during digging and loading operations.

By automating lubrication, the system eliminates the need for manual greasing and ensures each bearing and joint receives the correct amount of lubricant during operation. This improves uptime and reduces premature wear across key components like the lift and stick cylinders, boom pivots, and H-link connections.

The system uses a ReliaMAX™ 8 kg high-pressure pump and Almagard® Vari-Purpose Lubricant (3751), a robust NLGI 1 grease formulated to withstand shock loads, vibration, and moisture exposure. Its tacky consistency ensures reliable adhesion to metal surfaces even under heavy pressure, ideal for excavators working in demanding environments.
