Provides Ultimate Wear Protection, Corrosion Resistance and Thermal Stability

Specially formulated for the ultimate in corrosion resistance, wear protection and thermal stability. Polyalkylene glycol (PAG) lubricants are synthetic formulations known for their high viscosity index, extreme pressure (EP) properties, and ability to handle temperature extremes. In addition to the PAG base fluid, this formulation features Duolec®, LE’s proprietary dual-acting additive that provides both wear-reducing and EP protection.

Duolec PAG Gear Lubricant is an excellent choice for lubricating a variety of bearings and gears – particularly worm gears – as well as other equipment operating under extreme conditions.

  • Oxidation is the reaction of oxygen with a substance. When lubricants are exposed to oxygen, reactions occur that create new substances. For every 10°C (18°F) elevation in temperature, the rate of lubricant oxidation doubles, meaning at higher temperatures reactions speed up.
  • Thermal degradation occurs during micro-dieseling, cavitation and static discharge events, which produce very high, localized temperatures that thermally degrade the oil molecules in a lubricant.

Beneficial Qualities

  • Remains thermally stable and offers low volatility
  • Is good for wide operating temperature range
  • Remains thermally stable and offers low volatility
  • Is highly resistant to sludge formation
  • Can be used in high water contamination applications
  • Provides excellent corrosion prevention

Lubrication Technologies, Inc. also carries LE's selection of Low Tox Turbine Oil (6412-6414) and Monolec Turbine Oil, as well as greases for industries where large open gears are in service, including: coal-fired power generation, mining (iron, copper and other minerals), cement.

We'll do everything we can to insure you get the best solution for your application!
