ORLACO™ BACK-UP SAFETY CAMERAS
Lubrication Technologies, Inc. is an authorized representative for Orlaco by RMT - the only backup camera system specifically designed to stand up against the dust, dirt and constant vibration encountered in the heavy equipment industry.
Bring blind spots at the rear of trucks, construction equipment and forklifts into focus with the reversing camera system from Orlaco.
An Orlaco camera monitor system gives drivers the extra pair of eyes they need to work more safely, more efficiently and more comfortably. The rear view camera shows you the area immediately behind the vehicle or machine, and the monitor in the cab automatically switches to this camera when reverse gear is engaged. This vision solution not only helps to increase safety and efficiency, but also provides your drivers with greater comfort and ergonomics. Orlaco camera systems are manufactured in accordance with TS16949 — the highest achievable automotive quality standard.
An Orlaco rear view system consists of a reversing camera (input), a connecting cable (throughput) and a monitor (output). Most rear view systems have 4 pins (UNI): with an Orlaco 4-pin camera, an Orlaco 4-pin cable and an Orlaco monitor with a 4-pin video cable. You can use an Orlaco adapter cable to connect a 4-pin (UNI) system to a 7-pin (serial) system.
Each Orlaco monitor has two fixed cables — one video cable to connect the camera(s) and one power supply cable. Each system are powered by connecting the monitor to the vehicle's power supply using two power wires. The other wires from the power supply cable are switch wires that you can use to have a camera switch on automatically (direction of travel). Rear view systems often use a trigger wire in reverse to activate the camera automatically when reverse gear is engaged.
Orlaco offers a range of reversing cameras, including the popular 102º and 118º cameras. The cameras are available in various types, either as PAL or NTSC. A reversing camera is usually set up to show a mirror image. You can do this using the Orlaco monitor, but you can also opt for a standard MIRROR camera. This can be useful if you are connecting the Orlaco camera to a third party onboard information display rather than to an Orlaco monitor, for example.
Securing Orlaco cameras to the vehicle is a straightforward process. If the camera cannot be positioned on the vehicle itself, or if the required field of vision is not achieved, the camera can be secured using special (extendable) brackets.
Shielded cables, dynamic cables and multi cables (standard cables) — all connection cables are specially developed by Orlaco to a high level of quality. The cables can be used with any vision system and are available in various lengths, both 4-pin (UNI system) and 7-pin (serial system). The standard multi cable is often used for a rear view system if there are no other special dynamic or mechanical requirements. In addition, interconnections between the truck and trailer, for example, can be created using one of our spiral, cab or trailer cables.
Easy to install and operate, Orlaco's back-up camera systems are critical to the safety heavy equipment operators and those who work around them. Count on a system that works everyday and in any condition.
Orlaco can provide 7" and 12" automotive monitors. The 7" monitors are available as either integrated (via a double DIN-slot) or built-on versions, and the 12" is only as built-on. The surface-mounted monitors are easy to secure using various multi-adjustable brackets on the dashboard, roof or elsewhere in the cab.
All rear view camera systems can easily be expanded to up to four cameras. This allows you to create a combination with several rear view cameras or, for example, with extra side view, front view and process view on one vehicle.
All Orlaco 4CAM monitors are supplied with a video Y-cable with two video inputs (camera inputs) that you can use to connect two Orlaco cameras directly.
Three cameras can be connected using a switcher between the Orlaco camera and a monitor with a single video input. You can even connect four cameras to one monitor using a switcher in combination with a 4CAM monitor.
And you can switch between the cameras of these systems automatically using the monitor's switch wires, manually on the monitor, or via a connected controller.
RadarEye — Active Reversing System
You can combine the reversing camera with our extremely robust RadarEye sensors to receive active (audible and visual) warnings of imminent danger. Find out more about RadarEye here.
